How to Find Your Coffee Flavour Profile

A simple way to put words to the flavours you already enjoy.

Most of us know a good cup when we taste it, but naming why can feel tricky. Learning a few flavour families makes it easier to order with confidence and try something new.

Start with Familiar Notes

Think about the desserts and snacks you reach for. If you love chocolate and toasted nuts, a rounded medium roast may feel like home. If you prefer berries or citrus, look for coffees described as bright or fruity.

Taste Side by Side

Ordering two coffees at once is the fastest way to learn. Sip each one, then go back and forth. Small differences in sweetness, body, and finish become much easier to notice.

Keep It Playful

There is no wrong answer. Your favourite might change with the season, the weather, or the moment. That’s part of the fun.
